Arthritis

Did you know that arthritis is the leading cause of disability in the United States?  If you have a joint condition that affects your mobility this probably doesn’t come as much surprise, especially if you experience arthritis of the feet and ankles.

At Affiliated Ankle & Foot Care, we’ve helped many patients manage this painful and disruptive condition. While there is no cure, there are a number of treatments that can help relieve and manage arthritis of the feet and ankles.  Some of the most common treatment methods we provide include:

  • Custom orthotics and shoe inserts to support the foot, ease pressure and reduce joint fatigue

  • Physical therapy to restore joint mobility and strength, while easing inflammation and encouraging better circulation

  • Pain management for dealing with common symptoms of discomfort

  • Various medical and surgical treatments

If you are affected by foot or ankle arthritis, or you regularly experience any joint discomfort, please contact us to learn more about our podiatric services for arthritis.
