PAD occurs when there is build up on the walls of your arteries that carry blood to your legs, as well as feet. When this occurs, it causes cramping of your legs and hips.

Our vascular examinations use a lower extremity Doppler, photoplethysmography (PPG), and pulse volume (PV) to properly diagnose your lower extremity conditions. It lets us get an accurate diagnosis without having to guess the cause of your pain and discomfort. As part of the examination, our podiatrist, Dr. Harry Cotler, will look at your feet and ankles, including between your toes to see if you have ulcers or scars, at the skin on your feet, your arch and your heels.
