Diabetic Foot Care

If you are diabetic, foot care is very important.  Many complications that occur as a result of diabetes are related to issues with the foot, including diabetic ulcers. Foot problems like poor wound healing may also serve as the foremost warning sign in the development of diabetes. So if you have been diagnosed or are at risk, diabetic foot care should be a priority in your life.

Here at Affiliated Ankle & Foot Care, we offer a number of diabetic foot care services that are designed to keep your feet healthy as you manage your condition.  We work with our patients to ensure that they stay diligent in daily foot checks, that they receive proper wound care, and in the prevention of issues like ingrown toenails and skin cracking.

If you or someone you know is affected by diabetes, please see us for comprehensive diabetic foot care and management services.

  1. Yes I agree with you that proper foot care is very important if someone is diagnosed with diabetes because poor foot care may lead to amputation of a foot or leg so diabetic patients should pay special attention to their feet.
